County Free Libraries were established by California State Law and focus on providing equitable access to library services across the state, primarily to underserved and unserved locations. Our County Library employees are committed to the mission of helping others, especially those who need our help the most. In this way, we strengthen the entire state, our local counties and cities, and the statewide economy through vital library services.
